I understand design as multidisciplinary and collaborative in essence. My work begins with comprehensive research into a specific context that could be opened up to a wider audience.
For me, objects work as communication tools about a craft, culture or aspect of human behaviour. Furthermore, I believe design is a powerful medium for positive social or environmental impact.
I care about the process as much as the end result, and I believe that aesthetics is a valuable agent for a message to reach an audience.
